Video length
App Store Preview videos should be between 15 and 30 seconds. Keep the video focused on the most important app interactions and remove long pauses before uploading.

File format
- .mov, .mp4 or .m4v.
- H.264 video encoding.
- Missing, disabled or incorrectly encoded audio tracks may cause App Store Connect to reject the video.

Common upload errors
Incorrect video dimensions
If App Store Connect rejects the video size, use the tool above to resize the recording to the required preview dimensions for the selected device.
Unsupported or corrupted audio
If your original recording has no audio, adding a valid silent audio track can help avoid audio-related upload errors. This tool adds a silent stereo track to help the exported file meet Apple’s technical requirements.
Video is too long
Keep the preview between 15 and 30 seconds. Remove slow sections, loading screens and unnecessary pauses before uploading.
